These are my new favorite Birkenstocks. I bought two pair, that came from two different authorized sellers. The Mineral Nubuck needed to be broken in, so I wore them around the house for an hour a day, and after a week they fit like a glove. The Mineral color is like a light Dove Gray and is very versatile.The Metallic Rose Leather were comfortable from the first time I put my feet in them. I almost sent them back because there is a very noticeable flaw in the middle of the upper strap that was highlighted by the glittery paint. If they had not been so comfortable they would have gone back. However, I was able to move the upper strap and "weave" it under instead of over the front strap. They still fit great, you don't see the flaw in the leather, and you can't tell that the upper strap (where the buckle is located closest to the heel) is meant to be the top strap.
